In the north of Istria, in the beautiful Buzeština region, where nature is especially generous, the well-known family distillery Aura makes the best possible use of its boundless gifts. Hand-picked wild herbs and wild fruits, in a unique old cellar in the heart of Buzet, are transformed with great love and skill into exclusive spirits, liqueurs, gins, and marmalades, prepared according to traditional recipes.

Visitors have the opportunity to discover the entire production process behind Auri's products, from the maceration of herbs and the making of Teranino and Karbun gin, all the way to bottling, labeling and preparation for further distribution. Guests can also enjoy tasting the products, and the distillery also houses a shop where you can find everything offered by this most award-winning Croatian distillery.

Their most famous and most awarded product is Teranino, a favorite among female consumers. The Aura distillery also offers the Premium Istrian Dry Gin Karbun, Croatia's first aperitif Ora d'Oro, refreshing Limoncello and Orancello, Fernet Amaro 78, and other herbal and fruit liqueurs and spirits, whose quality stems precisely from truly living up to their motto: »Hand-picked, made with love«.

The heart of our production - the Aura distillery - is located on a site slightly larger than 600 m², a rustically restored old cellar in Buzet. This is where the production process of our spirits, liqueurs, gins and jams takes place. Visitors can view and experience the entire process, from fruit fermentation, distillation, fruit maceration, and spirit aging to bottling, labeling and packaging. In addition to the production area, our distillery also houses a shop offering the full range of Aura products, as well as a tasting room where we welcome groups and individual visitors alike.
