Appearance: Amber-gold color with a slight coppery sheen.
Aroma: Intense yet pleasant: ripe fruit and berries (shiraz), a light touch of vanilla and coconut from bourbon casks, along with a hint of spices, caramel, and gentle smoke.
Taste: The start is creamy and sweet, then flavors of dark grapes, mulberry, and dark berries unfold, balanced with vanilla, toffee, and warm spices. The finish is lightly wine-like, yet still elegant, and nicely dosed with bourbon notes.
Finish: Medium-long to long: pleasant warmth of spices, fruity-wine notes, and vanilla remain in the foreground, without excessive alcoholiness—blending bourbon and shiraz casks turns out to be a very good compromise.
