Color: Intense mahogany color with coppery highlights. Crystal clear, with thick tears after swirling in the glass—proof of high viscosity and maturation.
Aroma: Very complex: dried fruit (figs, raisins), orange peel, walnut, dark sugar, caramel, cedar, an old leather book, and subtle molasses notes. Also present are hints of spices (nutmeg, cloves), complemented by woody notes.
Palate: Full and rich, yet elegant. At the start, dry but warmly fruity, with layers of nuts, caramel, tobacco, vanilla, and faint ester notes reminiscent of banana and green papaya. In the middle, wood, orange marmalade, and dark chocolate stand out.
Finish: Long-lasting, dry, and slightly spicy finish, with echoes of smoke and spices. Very well balanced, with high alcohol integration. Excellent for meditative enjoyment without any additions.
