Appearance: Light golden-amber color with a clearly oily consistency; “legs” slowly form along the glass.
Aroma: Initial soft smoke, with notes of bread crumbs, Darjeeling tea, roasted biscuits, and honeyed caramel. Then tropical fruits join in—nectarine, mango, and melon.
Palate: Creamy and rich; honey, vanilla, oak, and a subtle hint of baked orange with resinous wood. The smokiness is also pleasant and not aggressive.
Finish: Long-lasting and sweet finish with a warm presence of honey, vanilla, and wood, after which torfrauch and leather gently return.
