Appearance: Amber-gold color, medium viscosity, and clear “legs” in the glass, with a bright reflection.
Aroma: A blend of honey, dark chocolate, tropical fruit, and the briny breath of sea air. A rich aroma of spices and subtle vanilla is present, coming from the addition of sherry soda.
Palate: Silky and well-balanced. The sweetness of honey intertwines with the flavor of dark chocolate, dried fruit, and spices. A slight spiciness and hints of wood are nicely complemented by the maritime character of the Islay style.
Finish: Medium to long-lasting, with traces of vanilla, dark chocolate, warm wood, and mineral hints. Exceptionally smooth and harmonious finish.
