Frescobaldi is a renowned Tuscan winery with a long-standing tradition. The Chardonnay vineyards in Pomino have been planted since 1855, surrounded by magnificent forests of fir and sequoia trees. Pomino is located at an altitude of 700 meters, where cooler summer temperatures and snow in winter create unique conditions for wine production. Benefizio is the first Italian white wine to be fermented and aged in wood, created in 1973. The wine reflects the characteristics of an exceptional terroir and the rich history of the Frescobaldi family.
