Bellefont-Belcier 2019 is an exceptionally elegant, sophisticated, and modern Saint-Émilion: it combines deep fruit, subtle minerality, fine structure, and aging potential. The wine impresses with harmonious balance and a long-lasting aftertaste. It is suitable for lovers of refined Bordeaux wines and an excellent choice for gastronomic pairings. With time in the cellar, it gains in value and complexity.

Appearance: The wine has a deep, dense ruby-garnet color with pronounced pigmentation. The rim is dark and consistent, with a shiny edge — indicating ripe grapes, good color extraction, and aging potential.

Aroma: The profile is complex, fruity, and earthy-mineral: ripe blackberries, black currants, plums, intertwined with notes of smoke, slight wet earth (“loamy soil”), wet stone, spices, dark chocolate, dry wood, and subtle floral/violet/mineral tones.

Taste: On the palate, it is full to medium-full bodied, with a smooth, silky texture and ripe fruitiness: dark fruit dominates, complemented by slight minerality and earthy undertones. The tannins are ripe yet sufficiently structured, the acidity is fresh and maintains balance. The wood (oak) is nicely integrated — it does not dominate but supports the fruit and terroir. A slight chalky note is also revealed in the mouth, giving the wine breadth and depth.

Finish: The finish is long, elegant, and restrained — fruitiness, minerality, and subtle earthy notes linger long in the aftertaste. The wine feels harmonious, with aging potential. According to critics, there is no need for quick consumption — the wine will develop over the next 10–20 years.
