Appearance: Light ruby-red color with a bluish rim, medium-high saturation and crystal clarity. Slightly viscous – very inviting.
Aroma: Fruity intensity on the nose: red berries (currants, raspberry, cherry), with hints of fruit jelly, apricot, and bitter orange. The aroma is creamy and pleasantly sweet, with a sweet aftertaste.
Taste: Dry (technically “medium sweet” with ~30 g/l RS), slightly full-bodied; the taste is balanced between sweetness and moderate acidity. The fruit profile is based on black fruits (blackberries, currants) with a slight spicy note and creamy texture. The tannins are soft.
Finish: The aftertaste is very long, distinctly fruity and creamy, with a slight spicy structure and pleasant freshness. The finish is inviting and encourages further sips.
