Don Erzetič is a wine that pairs excellently with grilled meat, spicy sauces, and traditional dishes such as goulash, sautéed liver, and various sausages. We also recommend it with hearty dishes containing legumes, especially if served with smoked ribs. The wine is best at room temperature between 16 and 18 °C, but a slightly higher temperature does it no harm. An ideal companion for rich and aromatic meals.

Appearance: The wine is an intense ruby color with carmine hues.

Aroma: The bouquet is complex, dominated by fruity aromas, with grassy notes and warm spicy tones in the background.

Taste: On the palate, the wine is rich, medium-bodied, with a good balance between acidity and alcohol, and very pleasant tannins. Aromas of fresh small black and red fruits stand out, partly also raspberry jam, but the sweet notes are short-lived, as they are quickly overtaken by the complexity of spices, with red pepper at the forefront.

Finish: The aftertaste is long, mineral, and pleasantly tannic, giving the wine an elegant finishing note.
