Appearance: Non-transferable deep purple (almost black) with bluish reflections. Color is extremely saturated with medium to high viscosity.
Aroma: The nose reveals blue and dark fruits—dried plums, blackberries—together with aromas of bacon/plum bacon, dark chocolate, blueberry liqueur, blueberry spiced perfume, and accents of cloves and dried cherries. A complex, layered aromatic structure.
Palate: Completely dry, full-bodied, with strong yet rounded tannins. A fruit-rich texture with pronounced notes of prunes, black cherries, and spices, rich body, and ripe fruit. A mineral and warm character of Priorat; tannins are present, but smooth and well integrated.
Finish: Long-lasting and intense aftertaste, where the fruit dynamics (black berries) return, along with spices, dark chocolate, and a hint of minerality. Fine, mature finish with noticeable noble warmth.
