Appearance: The wine is an intense ruby red color with slight violet hues.
Aroma: A complex synergy of very ripe berries, dark chocolate, and vanilla.
Taste: Harmonious with the aroma, refined with velvety tannins.
Conclusion: Grapes of selected top quality were harvested in the last days of September. Maceration of the grape berries in contact with the must lasted three weeks. The wine then matured for 24 months on its own fine lees in 225L barrique barrels, and after bottling, for at least half a year in the bottle before coming to market. We recommend it with aged meat dishes, cured meats, grilled meat dishes, and game.
