Appearance: Light golden-yellow color with greenish tints. Clarity is high; the wine looks clean, elegant, and shows a beautiful glow.
Aroma: Delicate floral notes (e.g., acacia), white fruit (peach and/or pear), citrus peel, and a pronounced mineral trail. A slight nutty or gently warm note is also present, characteristic of Savagnin, grown out of aging in the “voile” regime.
Taste: Dry wine with good structure: fine yet sufficiently full-bodied, pronounced and well-balanced acidity, and a smooth, refined texture. The fruit component connects beautifully with the mineral core and with a slight oxidative or “nutty” note from the aging method. The finish leaves a sensation of pure white; tannins are not in the foreground.
Finish: Medium-long to long, clean, with a continuous trace of fruit, citrus peel, and mineral. The wine feels elegant and distinctly terroir-driven; suitable for drinking now, while also having the potential for a short further development of aromas.
