Appearance: Intense ruby color with a garnet rim, clear and dense consistency; visually deep and elegant.
Aroma: Primary aromas include ripe red fruit – marasca cherries, dark sour cherries, sometimes blackcurrant – with the addition of floral notes (wildflowers, violet), citrus nuances (blood orange), and vegetal notes. Secondary highlights are formed by spices, herbs, as well as earthiness and a hint of undergrowth. Tertiary aromas: tobacco, toasted wood core, balsamic notes, and wet earth.
Taste: Completely dry, full-bodied with lively acidity and silky, still consistent tannins. The fruitiness is ripe and mineral – cherry, blackberry together with subtle spiciness and herbs. In the mouth, the structure is strong and harmonious, the soda and fruit aggregation gives a long and elegantly even taste.
Finish: Warm, long-lasting finish with returning fruity (violet, cherry) and spicy notes, complemented by mineral breath. As said: “long, persistent finish” with “silky tannins” and pleasant freshness.
