Appearance: Deep ruby-violet cores with a dark rim; the wine is full-bodied, opaque and clear.
Aroma: The nose feels sensual and complex—blackcurrant, plums, dark chocolate, flour, vanilla, cedar, ground pepper-spice notes, and a discreet mineral touch.
Palate: Full and rich, with a texture like a flour-fruit orchard of black-berry fruit, along with flour and chocolate nuances. The tannins are silky and finely smoothed. The mouthfeel is balanced, with a lovely fruit core, subtle herbal layering, and spices.
Finish: Long-lasting aftertaste—fruit-driven, spiced, and structured with mineral notes, with a leaning toward a gentle cooling note. An elegant, refined and already developed wine that will continue to mature beautifully at least until 2040.
