Appearance: Deep, vivid ruby-red color with a contrasting purple rim. Full-bodied, intensely saturated color and clear structure.
Aroma: Aroma of blackcurrant, blackberries, ripe plums, roasted coconut notes, dark chocolate, floury notes, lavender-like mineral scents; notes of tobacco, cigar and a hint of menthol herb. Very ripe and expressive nose.
Taste: Full-bodied and intense – fruit in the style of “black forest cake,” a combination of sweet Cabernet fruits and spicy Syrah tones (ashy pepper, chocolate). Tannins are powdery and mineral; medium to high acidity gives structure.
Finish: Long-lasting, structurally complex finish – fruity, spicy and with a mineral aftertaste. Tannins remain present but nicely integrated; aging potential 2040/2050.
