Château La Tour Figeac 2014 is an elegant, classic Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé with good fruit structure, nicely balanced acidity, and pleasant complexity. The wine is suitable for immediate drinking or short-term aging (up to approx. 2031). It pairs excellently with rich meat dishes and mature cheeses. Made from approximately 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc, which gives the wine the characteristic right-bank Bordeaux structure. Hand harvesting and aging in French oak barrels ensure quality and elegance.

Appearance: Dark ruby-purple color with a dense core and violet tones, indicating a medium body, maturity, and good color intensity.

Aroma: The nose is distinctly classic Saint-Émilion, with aromas of ripe dark fruits—black cherries, blackberries, and plums—complemented by delicate grassy and earthy undertones, subtle spices, and a hint of wood that adds complexity and depth.

Palate: In the mouth, it has a medium-full body with well-integrated fruit and tannins that are not aggressive, yet provide structure. The fruit profile remains in the foreground, with red and black berries, and a pleasant freshness and acidity that maintain balance. The texture is smooth, and the tannins are soft and supportive.

Finish: The finish is medium to long, with a pleasant fruit impression and a gentle mineral note. The wine is quite drinkable even today, but thanks to its structure and freshness, it can age for a few more years.
