Appearance: Deep ruby-red color with subtle violet tones at the edges. Medium to high viscosity, glossy and dense—indicating concentration, structure, and good aging potential.

Aroma: Complex and deeply layered aroma: dark red and black fruit (blackberries, black cherries, plums), followed by notes of blue and dark fruits (blueberries) and spices (black pepper, warm winter spices, a slight flour/flour-dough atmosphere). There are also earthy or loamy (“loamy soil”) notes, a light to dark chocolate, and subtle mineral or gravel-like tones (“gravel”)—typical of the Saint-Émilion terroir.

Palate: Medium to full body, with elegant, finely polished tannins and good structure. The fruitiness is ripe and intense (dark fruit, plums, black cherries), supported by balanced acidity that brings freshness. The texture is silky to slightly powdery, creating a sense of softness and depth. Oak and spices are nicely integrated, without excessive dominance, so the fruit and terroir come through.

Finish: Long, lasting aftertaste, where notes of dark fruit, spices, a slight smoke/chocolate, and minerality return. The finish is elegant, balanced, and structurally rich, with good potential for longer aging (6–20 years). The wine is already approachable in its youth, especially after decanting.
