Hommage a Jacques Perrin 2018 is an elite Châteauneuf-du-Pape of exceptional concentration and elegance — a classic Mourvedre at its best, an outstanding choice for collectors and gourmet pleasures. The wine impresses with its rich structure, complexity, and long-lasting flavor. It is made from old vine grapes, with minimal intervention and manual vinification. Aging takes place in large French barrels, which emphasizes its finesse and depth. Ideal for special occasions or as an investment in a wine cellar.

Videz: Deep and dark ruby-red color, almost black, with a high shine. Very viscous and clear structure, promising density.

Vonj: Exceptionally complex aroma: red berries (cherries, raspberries, strawberries) combined with herbs (cistus, lavender, thyme), black olives, smoked meat, espresso, anise, dark chocolate, and a hint of garrigue. The nose is intense and elegantly spiced.

Okus: Dry, full-bodied, exceptionally concentrated fruit (dark berries), strong yet finely tuned tannin framework. The flavor is accompanied by spices, strong minerality, fluid salinity, and the elegance of Mourvedre. Acidity provides freshness, and the structure holds the flavor for a long time.

Zaključek: Long-lasting, warm, and harmonious finish, where the fruitiness develops into a fruity-spiced finale with mineral and floral notes. Optimal drinking period: 2025–2045 (and beyond).
