Il Pino 2017 offers a unique expression of the Bibbona terroir – an elegantly mature, rich, yet refined wine, suitable for collectors, gastronomic pairings, or longer aging. The wine reflects the sophisticated harmony of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties. It is made from hand-picked grapes and aged in French barriques, which gives it complexity and elegance. It is distinguished by a long-lasting, fresh finish with mineral depth. An ideal choice for lovers of top Tuscan wines.

Appearance: Intense ruby color with a garnet rim, the wine is dense and opaque, with elegant viscosity. The color is deep and rich.

Aroma: Primary aromas of ripe dark fruit, such as blackcurrant, blackberry, and plum. Secondary notes of spices, chocolate, and espresso, all beautifully integrated. Tertiary perceptions of dried herbs, a hint of cedar, licorice, and subtle woody accents.

Taste: Dry wine (approximately 1 g/l residual sugar), medium-full to full body, ripe silky tannins, and fine, balanced acidity (about 5.3 g/l, pH ~3.62). The texture is smooth, with rich fruitiness of black peach, black cherry, pepper, and spices. Perfectly integrated wood gives structure without a sense of dryness.

Finish: Long-lasting, fresh, and intense finish with a return of fruity-spicy elements and mineral depth. Elegant development in the aftertaste with a long finish.
