Appearance: Deep ruby-red color with violet reflections. High saturation, clear glassiness.
Aroma: Intense aromas: ripe black berries, blackberries, cherries, as well as spices (black pepper, liquorice) and a slight minerality. The nose highlights the Vacqueyras terroir — warm, ripe fruit tones with garrigue and stone.
Taste: Dry wine with full body and rich fruitiness. Tannins are present and characteristically silky; acidity is sufficient, and the structure is firm. Fruit notes continue on the palate — grenache fruitiness, with mourvedre adding complexity. A mineral component is also present, giving depth.
Finish: The finish is long, echoed with black fruit, evening herbs, and a solid tannin framework. The wine offers potential for aging over the coming years, while already delivering enjoyment today.
