Taste: Powerful yet elegantly rounded flavor with well-structured sweetness, lively acidity, and a distinct “drying” finish. Flavors of ripe fruit continue (cherry/plum), with chocolate and spice notes; the tannins are already softly interwoven, giving a sense of depth and a long, lingering progression.
Finish: It definitely comes across as a wine that is still in good shape even for the 2008 vintage: rich, complex, and well balanced. If stored properly (upright with relatively stable conditions, without major temperature fluctuations), it should be enjoyable and pleasant for tasting.
