Appearance: Dark purple cores with a contrasting rim, full-bodied, extremely saturated, almost opaque Syrah.
Aroma: Rich aroma of dark fruits: baked plums, currants, black pepper, cloves, a slight note of smoked wood and herbal notes – elegantly spicy and complex.
Taste: Dry, medium to full body with an intense fruit core (blueberries, plums), with each sip developing spicy notes (peppery, herbal), lavender-mineral sapidity, fresh acidity, and soft, ripe tannins.
Finish: Long-lasting aftertaste with ripe fruit, spices, and herbs, where each aroma remains present long after the sip. The structure of ripe tannins and mineral imprint give a sense of elegance and potential for aging at least until 2030 (some say until 2040).
