Appearance
Deep ruby red color with purple reflections.

The wine appears dense, concentrated and very serious already in the glass.

Smell
The aroma is intense, rich and very recognizable.

In the foreground, notes of ripe cherries, sour cherries, blackberries and dark forest fruits intertwine. This is followed by shades of dark chocolate, tobacco, sweet spices, a slight note of green pepper and a mineral touch that adds additional depth to the wine. In some phases, notes of nougat, licorice and light floral honey also appear, which coincides nicely with Falstaff's assessments for the 2021 vintage.

The smell seems complex, warm and at the same time fresh - typical of an ambitious interpretation of Istrian Teran.

Taste
A dry, full-bodied red wine with pronounced extract, lively acidity and ripe tannins.

The taste is dominated by notes of sour cherries, black cherries, blackberries, plums, dark chocolate and sweet spices. Even in this richer version, Teran retains its characteristic acidic backbone, which gives the wine tension, freshness and gastronomic utility. Maturation in wood adds breadth, softness and additional layers of cocoa, tobacco and roasted tones.

The wine impresses with a balance between power, fruit concentration, minerality and Istrian energy.

Finish
A long, intense and structured finish with notes of ripe cherries, dark chocolate, spices and subtle minerality.

The finish remains warm, fresh and very persistent.
