Appearance: dark brown, golden mahogany color. Slightly viscous.
Aroma: strongly reminiscent of top-shelf whiskey and Kentucky bourbon. Black cherry with a hint of cherry.
Palate: wonderful spirit-like distillation start, bold and robust, with strong notes of whiskey and distillate fruit that appears towards the end. In the middle of the palate, almost rye whiskey. Excellent structure and backbone. High-quality chewy character. A hint of thick, fruity Irish whiskey with barrel-fired spirit. Stone fruit—peach and dark cherry.
Finish: lightly tannic, dry oak, lingers on the palate. Velvet-smooth and approachable, especially for spirits with a high alcohol content.
