Producing excellent wines requires patience, maturity, a great deal of rigor, and sharing the same vision with your team. A good measure of intuition is also needed to reveal the soul of the terroir. Mastering the different stages, from harvest to bottling, through vinification and aging: do not fear the "thousand and one details" that lead to excellence.

A key concept for the Gérard Bertrand group, which sets trends with unique, gourmet wines and bottles of refined design. Production includes quality wines, organic wines and/or sulphite-free wines, and even wines from biodynamic farming, for every type of consumer, as exemplified by the ranges Autrement, Naturae and Réserve Spéciale. Innovations also include innovative and beautiful bottle designs, such as the Côte des Roses and Perles de Sauvignon ranges, created by French designer Chantal Thomass.

Being a trendsetter is part of the Gérard Bertrand brand's DNA, offering wines and brands capable of meeting the diverse expectations of consumers around the world.

»Preserving the environment in a sustainable way, seeking harmony and balance in ecosystems, improving the precision of every gesture made by winegrowers, reaching future generations – these are today's challenges and tomorrow's responsibilities. Gérard Bertrand likes to remind us of this.

The group now continues to pursue its commitment to a sustainable development policy, taking an important step forward by carrying out a carbon footprint assessment. This proactive policy responds to growing consumer expectations and the global need to reduce the harmful impact of greenhouse gases on the climate. Gérard Bertrand is also partnering with photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand, founder of the GoodPlanet Foundation, on the agroforestry project "Objective 10,000 Trees" in Languedoc-Roussillon.
