Aroma: On the nose, intense ripe dark fruit—blackberries, black cherries, plums, and blackcurrant. Then follow subtle hints of spices, a slight minerality, and possible earthy (»loamy soil«) notes, with a touch of oak in the background: vanilla, as well as delicate wood and spiced nuances. With longer airing, faint herbal or dried spice notes may also appear.

Palate: Full-bodied, with a pleasantly structured finish featuring ripe but not aggressive tannins. The fruit sweetness is deep and mature, dominated by dark fruit (black cherries, blackberries, plums) and a beautifully integrated acidity that preserves freshness and balance.
