Appearance: Shiny golden-amber color with a lively sheen. High viscosity and clear texture, which already in the color promises density and intensity.
Aroma: Elegant nose palette with notes of grapefruit and apricot jam, flowers (mirabelle, fynbos), ginger, orange peel, and a hint of "petrol-de-la-Riesling" aromas. Woody notes of spices and honey complement the complexity.
Taste: Exceptionally rich and satisfying with a balanced structure: RS ?160 g/L, acidity pH ?3.7 (?6.2–7.2 g/L TA). The taste brings candied citrus, apricot, nectarine, ginger, and a subtle mineral salt and bitter-lemon varietal. The acidity excellently keeps the sweetness in balance.
Finish: Long-lasting, harmonious, and decisive finish with mineral and spicy nuances. The wine at its peak between 2017–2045, with continued aging potential even after this period.
